Well Gar Gar, it was some time ago that you and I first met. At that time, we were brought together through discussions about community involvement and what could be done for improvement. I invited you to join my community at APRH, and you did.

That was the beginning of two different colors of humans coming together — showing that different cultures can mix, collaborate, and strengthen our community.

Gar, I have watched you succeed in so many ways in Forest Lawn: feeding the less fortunate, working with youth, and never being afraid to stand up for your beliefs and for Forest Lawn — and I am sure, for all of Ward 9.
